Overview
SPEDDY is a special-education operating system with built-in AI agents. We delivered the marketing and product web experience at speddy.ai, Flutter apps on the App Store and Google Play, and AI workflows that turn voice or text into structured drafts: service logs, session notes, IEP updates, behavior records, resource generation, scheduling, and parent contact logs. The backend is powered by Supabase with a privacy-first posture aligned to FERPA, HIPAA, and COPPA expectations — educators always review and approve before anything is saved.
Challenge
Special education staff were drowning in paperwork and compliance tasks, and many turned to unvetted public AI tools that created FERPA risk for districts.
Solution
A cross-platform product: Next.js web, Flutter for iOS/Android, LLM-assisted drafting, and Supabase for auth, data, and realtime — with teacher-in-the-loop review on every draft.
